Xiaomi has introduced the Redmi Smart Fire TV 4K series in India, comprising two variants: a 55-inch and a 43-inch model. Both come with 2GB RAM and 8 GB storage. The TVs have a 4K resolution for the display and can support HDR, High Dynamic Range view for pictures.

The Redmi Smart Fire TV 4K series starts on September 18 on Xiaomi’s online store and an e-commerce website, Flipkart. Introductions: The company extended its range of offers; for instance, customers were offered 1,500 rupees cash back for purchases made with an ICICI Bank credit or debit card.

Display: They both come with a screen resolution of 4K and HDR support, which will help improve the colour and contrast range. Xiaomi said the TVs have unibody chassis with a slim bezel-less profile to optimise screen-to-body ratio.
Performance: Equipped with a 64-bit quad-core processor, the TV model has 2 GB of RAM and 8GB ROM each. A technology known as Motion Estimation and Motion Compensation (MEMC) enhances the picture quality, especially when there are fast-moving objects.
Audio: The 55-inch model has a 30W speaker system, while the 43-inch model has 24W speakers.
Connectivity: The TVs also have Bluetooth 5 compatibility with the other devices. 0, 802. 11ac Dual-band Wi-Fi, AirPlay 2, and Miracast simplify streaming and sharing of content and are compatible with external speakers and audio output devices.
Intelligent features: The Redmi Smart Fire TV series also comes with a preloaded Appstore that can access over 12,000 apps which include popular ones such as Prime Video, Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, Zee5, and JioCinema. Also, the TVs come with an in-built Alexa voice control for making voice commands to adjust compatible smart home devices. Picture-in-Picture technology enables the device users to watch several content sources at once.
