Manu Bhaker-Sarabjot Bronze Win in Olympics 2024
Yesterday, Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh won bronze in the mixed team 10m Air Pistol event at the Chateauroux Shooting Centre. It brought India’s second medal at the Paris Olympics 2024. In this Olympics, Team India already won 2 medals with Manu Bhaker securing one bronze in the women’s 10m air pistol competition. India was ahead 4-2 after the 3rd series and by the fifth, their lead was 8-2. Our strong athletes kept cool like our Thala and won the medal easily without many complications. However, South Korea made a comeback by taking the score to 10-6 after the 8th series.
This was Sarabjot’s 1st Olympic medal. At the same time, Manu wrote history with her second win. She became the first Indian Athlete to win multiple medals at a single Olympic Games. Manu previously India at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, winning a bronze in the women’s 10m air pistol event. Not only that, She became just the Fourth Indian who won multiple medals for India at a Summer Games, following Norman Pritchard in athletics, Sushil Kumar in wrestling, and PV Sindhu in badminton. Still none of them took home more than 1 medal in a single edition.
Indian Hockey Team Qualifies for Quarterfinals

India had a better offensive play in the game’s opening 2 quarters with Harmanpreet’s penalty after India leading in the first quarter. In the 2nd Quarter, he made 2 goal win for the team.
