Rahul Gandhi’s Video Message on Manipur Violence

Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the Congress, unleashed a harsh attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday. It was in response to the ongoing violence in Manipur. Stating that the BJP leader is aware that his ideology is to blame for setting fire to the northeastern state. Gandhi claimed in a video message released by the Congress that Modi only represents a small group of people and is unconcerned with the pain of the women of Manipur. Where they showed three women being paraded while completely naked.

“You all witnessed what is taking place in Manipur. You might have expected the country’s prime leader to speak up when a state is on fire. Many of you would have expected the prime minister at least to travel to Imphal. Travel to Imphal and interact with the populace” Gandhi added.

“You’d be surprised at why the prime minister of the nation doesn’t visit Manipur and give a speech about it. It’s because Narendra Modi represents a small group of RSS members as prime minister. He has no connection to Manipur. He is aware that his philosophy has ignited a fire in Manipur,” he continued.

According to Gandhi, the Bharatiya Janata Party is only concerned with obtaining power. They will stop at nothing to accomplish so. “They will burn Manipur and the entire nation in the pursuit of power. The govt doesn’t care about the nation’s suffering,” he claimed.

Modi has been requested to make a statement in front of lawmakers then there will be a discussion. In order to attempt and corner the government on the ongoing violence in Manipur and demand a reply from the prime minister, the opposition grouping even tabled a no-confidence vote in the Lok Sabha.
