PM Modi Gifts Ram Mandir Replica to French President Emmanuel Macron

Emmanuel Macron, the president of France, received a replica of the recently constructed Ram Temple in Jaipur, Rajasthan. On Thursday during his two-day visit to India, thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The two leaders can be seen grinning and shaking hands in a video that news agency ANI aired when PM Modi gives Marcon the temple model.

On January 22, the prime minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, and thousands of other dignitaries, including politicians, celebrities, and saints, attended the ceremonial opening of the Ram Temple in the holy city of Ayodhya.

France President Emmanuel Macron’s India Visit

The 75th Republic Day celebrations included Macron as the chief guest on Friday. Macron is now on a two-day visit to India. His visit occurred many months after Prime Minister Modi traveled to France on July 14, 2018, as the guest of honor, to participate in the Bastille Day Parade.

Thursday afternoon saw the arrival of the French President in Jaipur, where he was greeted by Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar. Macron visited Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Jantar Mantar shortly after his arrival.

Greeting Macron, PM Modi posted on X, the former Twitter. Stated, “My friend President Emmanuel Macron, welcome to India. I’m glad that President Macron is starting his tour of India in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The city is known for its rich history, culture, and talented populace. His participation in our Republic Day celebrations in Delhi tomorrow, January 26, is a source of tremendous pride. His presence adds a noteworthy chapter to our shared history of friendship and cooperation in addition to strengthening the bonds between our countries.

The two leaders conducted a roadshow in the interim, traveling from Jantar Mantar to Jaipur’s famous Hawa Mahal. The two also went to a neighboring tea stall to have tea. President Macron made his purchase there using the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) digital payment system.

The goal of welcoming 30,000 Indian students to France by 2030 has been announced by French President Emmanuel Macron on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter). The President further stated that the country will create new opportunities for students and expedite the visa process for Indians who have previously studied in France. Macron described the goal as “very ambitious” and stated that he is “determined to make it happen.” Additionally, he provided an outline of how the goal will be met.

“We are introducing new courses for French instruction in public schools under the banner of ‘French for All. French for a Better Future.'” We are expanding the Alliances françaises network by adding new language learning facilities. We are developing foreign courses that will enable students to enroll at our universities even if they do not know French. Finally, the statement said, “We would expedite the visa application procedure for any former Indian students who attended French universities.

Additionally, he praised pupils for selecting France. Seeking excellence is what it means to visit France. “Currently, 35 colleges are listed in the QS ranking, whereas roughly 15 are listed in the Times Higher Education Ranking. India and France have so much to do together, now and in the future. We will achieve this with you, our young people, in exchange and cooperation, in trust, in friendship!” he added.
