Cricketers Ram Temple Invitation: From Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar to famous cricketer MS Dhoni, several household names from the cricket community have received invitations to attend the Ram Temple ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony on January 22 in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. The most recent cricket player to receive an invitation to the Ayodhya ceremony is former India captain Virat Kohli, who received it on Tuesday.
Former captain of India, Virat Kohli, celebrated his return to the shortest format of the T20 World Cup after India’s victory against Afghanistan in the second T20I on Sunday. According to recent reports, the invitation was delivered to Kohli and his actress-wife, Anushka Sharma, at their Mumbai residence. Earlier, invites to the Pran Pratishtha event at Ram Temple were extended to World Cup-winning skipper Dhoni and batting great Tendulkar.
Star Cricketers Ram Temple Invitation
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) co-province secretary Dhananjay Singh extended the invitation to Dhoni. “Today at the JSCA Stadium for the opening of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, State General Secretary (Organisation) Shri @bjpkarmveer ji and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s co-province executive Shri Dhananjay Singh ji congratulated the former captain of the Indian cricket team, the pride of Jharkhand, Shri Mahendra Singh Dhoni ji. Invited to become a member of the esteemed group, BJP Jharkhand posted on its X (formerly known as Twitter) account.
Gautam Gambhir, a former opener for India, had earlier posted about getting the invitation. “When Dad received the invitation for प्राण्ठा, he felt honored! On X, Gambhir wrote, “Jai Shri Ram! ” A week before Tuesday’s Pran-Pratishtha celebration of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, the Vedic rites were initiated. Public ‘darshan’ access to the temple will begin on January 23.
“It is anticipated that the ‘Pran Prathishtha’ will end by 1 pm. Following the ceremony, PM Modi and other attendees will share their opinions. Gifts in the form of a thousand baskets have however traditionally arrived from Mithila and Janakpur in Nepal. Darshan will be closed to the public on January 20 and 21, according to Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.
Date of Ram Mandir’s opening: January 22, 2024
On January 22, 2024, the Ram temple in Ayodhya will be indeed inaugurated. The availability of the PM on the day of the inauguration is confirmed by an official letter.
