69th Filmfare Awards 2024: Gujarat Set to Host Film Excellence

Everyone is in for an incredible two-night show at Gujarat Tourism’s 69th Filmfare Awards in 2024. Scheduled for January 28 at Gandhinagar’s GIFT City. Gujarat, the greatest in Indian cinema will be honoured at the awards ceremony. The actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Maniesh Paul, together with filmmaker and talk show presenter Karan Johar, will serve as the hosts for the evening, which features performances by actors Ranbir Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, and Kartik Aaryan.

The Mahatma Mandir Convention & Exhibition Centre will host a curtain raiser on January 27 where winners of technical award categories will be presented with the Black Lady as part of the festivities. At a press conference in Mumbai, notable figures including Hareet Shukla (IAS, Principal Secretary, Tourism, Devasthanam Management, Civil Aviation & Pilgrimage, Government of Gujarat) were there to reveal important facts like the identities of the performer and the host. stars Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, together with director Karan Johar.

Minister of Tourism, Cultural Activities, Forests, Environment, and Climate Change for the Government of Gujarat, Mulubhai Bera, shared his thoughts on the association by saying, “Gujarat’s diverse offerings in locations, ranging from landscapes and beaches to majestic forests provide an ideal backdrop for film shoots and tourism.”

Johar acknowledged his excitement and described it as an honor to be a part of the celebration before the gala night. As I take on the position of host for this show, the enthusiasm is evident. Gujarat is an unmatched venue for this event because it is celebrating within the rich tapestry of its culture, heritage, economic development, and technical advancements. Filmfare was the catalyst for my own presenting career, and I have a strong emotional bond with the platform.
