World Mental Health Day: Rare Beauty Donates 100% Product Sales to Rare Impact Fund

World Mental Health Day is an annual event that promotes worldwide mental health education, awareness, and advocacy. SEPHORA and Rare Beauty have partnered to create the Make a Rare Impact campaign. On October 10, SEPHORA will contribute 100%* of Rare Beauty product sales to the Rare Impact Fund for the World Mental Health Day. The Rare Impact Fund, established in 2020 by Selena Gomez, the founder and creator of Rare Beauty, aims to lessen the stigma attached to mental health and increase young people’s access to mental health services and education worldwide.

Selena Gomez, the founder and creator of Rare Beauty and the Rare Impact Fund, said, “I created the Rare Impact Fund with the goal of increasing access to mental health services and education for young people, which is something I wish I had when I was younger.” This work would not be possible without the help of partners like SEPHORA, who not only believe in this purpose but also provide essential cash to expand mental health services to young people throughout the world. The mental health crisis is one of the most important crises confronting young people today. I feel privileged that Rare Beauty and SEPHORA are collaborating to sell Rare Beauty products at SEPHORA on World Mental Health Day in order to earn money for the Rare Impact Fund.

We anticipate a fruitful collaborative fundraising effort with SEPHORA this year in observance of Globe Mental Health Day to support the work of the Rare Impact Fund, which supports mental health organizations throughout the globe that are centered on children and underprivileged areas.”

Through a series of social media posts produced in collaboration with Rare Beauty in the days preceding World Mental Health Day, SEPHORA will encourage its international beauty community to participate in an honest discussion on mental health. In order to de-stigmatize discussions about mental health and celebrate what makes each of us unique, Rare Beauty and SEPHORA have joined forces.
