The Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV will sit on the brand’s electric SUV line-up above the EQE 500. Mercedes-Benz India will reveal prices for the EQS Maybach electric SUV on September 5. The SUV is already on sale in China, though. It debuted there last year as the EQS Maybach and follows the already available Mercedes-Maybach GLS SUV to join that model in India. Globally, it is the Mercedes brand’s flagship luxury electric SUV and comes with a unique Maybach-specific design, features, and tech upgrades over the standard EQS SUV.

As has been seen with the facelifted Mercedes-Maybach GLS, which recently went on sale, the Maybach EQS SUV sports chrome highlights outside and a swarm of tiny Maybach logos throughout the vehicle. At the front, it receives a closed-off black panel that slims down like a grille – radar sensors for ADAS are hidden here, plus vertical chrome strips provide some 3D effect. And like other Maybach models, the upper portion of the faux grille wears “Maybach” lettering in chrome.
Furthermore, the Maybach EQS SUV also gets extra chrome. On its window line and B-pillar, an additional Maybach logo is near the D pillar. It also matches the standard EQS SUV in getting “EQS” embossed on the window frame. Wheel and Tyre Options- 21″ or optional 22-inch alloy-/forged wheels with Maybach lettering. It rides on anodized aluminum running boards with integrated LED illumination.

The Maybach EQS SUV’s dash is like that of the standard EQS SUV – it gets three displays, and there are now some with Maybach-specific graphics. Maybach mode even offers an animated portrayal of the instrument cluster, which is one of many unique features on all these screens.
At the back are two 11.6-inch displays mounted on the front seatbacks for a rear seat entertainment package.
