Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Revealed

Hyundai India has launched the Alcazar facelift and started accepting bookings at its dealerships/site. A refreshed three-row SUV can be booked by paying Rs 25,000. The Hyundai Alcazar facelift has four trims, with six and seven-seat configurations available in petrol or diesel engines paired to their respective manual or automatic gearboxes.

The Alcazar facelift will continue to be offered in Executive, Prestige, Platinum, and Signature trims. The top-spec Signature is expected to receive more kit compared to the outgoing model, including higher-level connected car tech and a Level 2 ADAS suite.

Updated Design: Creta-Inspired Facelift

Design-wise, the facelifted SUV features a Creta-facelift-inspired face with unique H-shaped DRLs. The air intake, framed by two headlamps on either side, and the front bumper have been redesignes too. The sides have 18-inch alloy wheels with a new appearance. At the rear, there’s even an H-shaped pattern applied to the taillights where a line of LED lights join at one point from both sides and stretch below the license plate element while the bumper gets a revised silver finish. The new colors introduce nine color schemes, including the Robust Emerald Matte finish for exterior paint.

The automaker has not provides any more information about the Alcazar facelift, especially regarding which exact variants will be discontinues or its interiors yet; it does confirm, though, that both powertrains  160hp, 1.5-liter turbo-petrol and 116hp, liter diesel engines continue, as make their respective gearbox choices, Both get a manual gearbox standard. However, petrol also has the option of a 7-speed dual-clutch, while diesel comes with a 6-speed torque converter.

Price Announcement of Hyundai Alcazar

Hyundai will announce the prices for the new Alcazar facelift on September 9. Then, expect it to come with a minor premium over the current model prices from Rs 16.78 lakh and Rs 20.64 lakh in petrol form, while diesel variants are prices between Rs 17.78 and 21.28).
