What does the Snow White trailer show?
Snow White, played by Rachel Zegler opens the trailer by remembering how her father’s Kingdom had been hers, but that evil queen, her stepmother had taken control following his death. Snow White was forced to the sidelines by the change in authority. Her predicament is further exacerbated by the evil queen’s magic mirror informs her that her step daughter, not herself, is the “beautiful one out of them all”.
Snow White flees to the woodland, where she meets the Seven Dwarfs, on a friendly determination to avoid her cruel stepmother’s grasp. She quickly joins forces with them to improve the Woodland. At the end of the trailer, the princess is presented with a poisoned Apple by the evil queen. Who is dressed as an elderly woman.
The Controversy Around the New Trailer
Many of the story’s essential components are shown in this clip. Including, the characters at the heart of one of the most significant Snow White conflicts. The new trailer gives a much closer look at the group in question. Albeit it is unlikely that they are still referred to collectively as the “Seven Dwarfs” of the original title. The CGI-assisted characters usually appear to be uniformly sized. Despite the initial rumors that they would turn into a hodgepodge of UNidentified fantasy creatures of different proportions. However, it appears that the controversial Deprioritization of actors with dwarfism in the film has not changed.
The movie has received criticism on the internet before. Additionally, it sparks discussion about the choice of Latin actress Rachel Zegler to play the lead role. Which was initially characterized as “as White as snow”. The absence of dwarf actors playing the Seven Dwarfs was another criticism level of the movie.
On March 21, 2025, snow white is schedule to be released in theatres. Following the huge success of her film Barbie last year, Erin Cressida Wilson and Greta Gerwig co-wrote it.
